Film Watching- 4.3.2.1
Today in our Media Class I watched '4.3.2.1'. So far on what I have watched it is about four girls that have different situations at the same time and date. On what I've seen two of the girls was shown having bad situations after all of them left each other, as on of them (Shannon) became depressed, because she gets beaten up, chased by police, nearly killed, and Cassandra left London, got her virginity taken from her, all her things and shopping are stolen, and found out that she have a stalker that is obssessed with her.
From this film I learned that there are different characterisations between the four characters, as four of them have different life situations and different representation of the characters in the film. Also, the way they show the narrative structure of all the characters, for example, when a character finish her story the screen is cut and started a new scene where the same scene when the girls are saying goodbyes and the next girl's story is shown and also the time.
From the film I was inspired by the way they show different characterisation of the characters and the narrative structure of the story. This is because they show the different situations that the 4 girls are going through at the same time.

Finding AS Video Task
In this task I had to look for 3 recent AS Media Opening Tasks (effective) in YouTube and analyse them from the mark scheme, because we thought that it is easier for us to do 3 each and just come together and pick which one is much more effective. I learned that just watching this videos and analysing them I thought that an opening sequence can be a little clue of what the whole film will be about and that will make the audiences' want to watch it more.

Short Blog about what I did this week
What I did this week:
- This week I was finishing off all of the work that was set in the summer holidays and the final opening sequence presentation with my group.
- We get to film our preliminary task which I think is very tiring, because I had to move the camera and the tripod every time Carolle moves.
- We get to present our final opening sequence ideas as a group including the music, props, actors, location, research, inspirational films, scripts, storyboard, shot lists. I leant that in this presentation we had to have appropriate soundtrack for the first scene on our opening sequence, to start the presentation of what your genre and theme is about and why did the inspirational films inspire you and what did you get out of it?
- I learnt that you had to have an appropriate soundtrack on your scenes to match the actions.
- When showing an inspirational film, need to show why you get inspired by it and what ideas did you get from it.
- Also, learnt about continuity and how the film needs to look smooth while it is playing, even though its edited. The prop needs to be in the right place and the actor's place and actions should be in right order.
- To improve the ideas for our opening sequence.
- The structure and layout of the presentation should be in order and not to be all over the place.
- To use a variety of films and stills and show why you like it and how by labelling them.

Continuity in Movie making (Assignment 13)
I learnt that continuity is very important in movie making. If making a movie you have to have to have the correct weather, time, props, position of actors, script, etc. as if it is not correct the whole movie would not make sense.

Our Chosen Genre Research (Assignment 11)
In this Power Point Presentation is my research for our chosen genre (Drama) and this work consists of the definition of the genre Drama and its Sub-genres and also their definition as well. Also, I thought that adding a movie as an example for each sub-genres can be quite useful as it can give the reader a hint of what kind of genre it is by knowing the film mentioned in the work.

Job Role Responsibility (Assignment 9)
This presentation consists of our chosen job responsibility for our upcoming filming task. This also help us organise on what kind of things do we need to carry out each for the whole filming. Plus, we have included what kind of jobs each person will carry out for the film.
